What to Do When Your Career Feels Stuck
What to Do When Your Career Feels Stuck - I can't believe my current profession has reached saturation point. I don't know what's causing this, but every morning I arrive at work with no enthusiasm for the day. Even waking up feels like I lack effort. It's as if I want to escape from it all, find a new place to be, and be more enthusiastic about every activity.
Perhaps you've experienced something similar while pursuing
your professional career. I'm sure many have, with the only difference being
the time span. Some may reach saturation point in their profession after a
year, or two. Some may even reach this point after decades. There's no
definitive benchmark for when this saturation point ends; each individual
experiences this phase differently.
Boredom is a very human feeling, as we are human beings,
not robots without emotions. A single bout of boredom and weariness is
perfectly normal, but it's a different story when it occurs repeatedly. This is
a warning sign that we must pay close attention to and not ignore.
I've also been trying to find a way to avoid this constant
phase. I wanted to start a business with sufficient capital, but the result was
only cash flow. I don't know for sure what the cause was, whether it was a lack
of interest in the products I was selling or a lack of focus on managing the
business system while working a 9-5 job, which prevented the business from
growing significantly.
I've tried various methods to find solutions, including
reflection, meditation, and contemplation, all of which led to enlightenment.
From there, I realized that several aspects of myself needed to be explored
more deeply, starting with improving myself internally and externally.
At this point, I realized I needed to set new goals that
would reflect my true identity, free from the expectations of others that
weighed on me. I moved forward, armed with the various experiences I'd had in
the real world.
