Pivot or Optimize Your Business When Sales Are Slow
Pivot or Optimize Your Business When Sales Are Slow - Perhaps recently, some have talked about the economic downturn, but regardless, it all comes down to personal fortune. Those with good fortune might say it hasn't affected their current businesses, but those with less good fortune are feeling the effects of this economic downturn.
Perhaps you, the reader, are even experiencing something
similar in your current business. Certainly, most people have experienced it,
whether positive or negative, in recent years.
I've been observing for several years and have felt the
effects of this economic downturn, both directly and indirectly. When I started
selling lobsters in mid-2023, I began to feel the effects. Previously, sales
figures were consistent, even weekly or monthly, but now the situation is quite
different.
When I posted about my sales, only the religious circles,
or groups, were asking questions. However, on the other hand, some products
were selling, reaching the closing point. While not many, at least there was a
glimmer of hope amidst the storm, and this provided a breath of fresh air for
the sustainability of the fisheries business system.
Sometimes I wanted to pivot to another sector but lacked a
technical understanding. And that was only limited to knowing the basics. But I
remained optimistic because I realized there was no one else to truly rely on
but myself. Step by step, I had to learn the ins and outs of a product to
ensure it remained marketable and well-known to all groups.
Given these fluctuating conditions, we must further
increase brand awareness for the products and services we currently operate. A
simple way is to actively post our products on various social media platforms,
hoping that our business system can survive these conditions.
By implementing these tips, we hope our products will reach
a diverse audience, ensuring optimal engagement between the product and buyers.
