Ornamental Quail, A Unique Hobby to Overcome Burnout

Ornamental Quail

Ornamental Quail, A Unique Hobby to Overcome Burnout - Recently, I've been experiencing burnout in many aspects of my life, from my career to business, and so on. The burnout phase in one aspect often coincides with burnout in another. It all comes together at the same time, sometimes causing discomfort.

This leads to escapes, particularly hobbies. These activities can help alleviate burnout, whether for hours, days, or weeks. As long as they're positive, they're perfectly acceptable for anyone.

Of the many hobbies I pursue, one of my favorites is keeping pets. Some time ago, I visited a fairly well-known pet market in my city. Yes, the selection of animals was quite extensive.

Visitors looking to buy pets like songbirds, chickens, and pigeons were all available at this market. There was also a fish market with a wide variety of ornamental fish for aquarium display, both small and large.

However, something caught my eye. There was a new, unique and fascinating animal there. It was an ornamental quail. At first glance, it looked small, unlike most quail. However, its feather color was very unique, unlike the typical egg-laying quail, which are uniform in both males and females.

Caring for these quails is quite simple, almost the same as for other poultry. A simple cage with a sand base is all it takes to create a natural habitat for these quails.

Those interested in keeping them can purchase a few. Quails typically cost around 60,000-70,000 Rupiah per bird, depending on the seller.

Quail food is also readily available; you can find it at most bird feed stores and poultry shops. Furthermore, quails are well-suited to be part of an aviary ecosystem.

You can add a few to your aviary, mixing them with other animals that are safe for the ecosystem you've created.

And I think it's worth trying for animal enthusiasts. It's relatively inexpensive and very economical; BR feed alone is sufficient for the survival of these ornamental quail in both small and large-scale aviaries.

Additionally, we can provide alternative feeds for these ornamental quail, such as grains, bran, and rice bran, as they can stimulate optimal growth in a natural ecosystem.
